You know how you start reading one article, click a link in that one to another article, and repeat until you are way more than 6 degrees from the topic about which you started?
I did that yesterday and came across this statement in an article on a site called Celebrity Net
Worth:
When you operate a website that reports on the extreme wealth and assets of celebrities, you tend to receive A LOT of feedback from super fans of very specific celebrities.
It turns out that fans email and direct message the website regularly requesting that they correct
information about various celebrities.
Just think about that for a minute....
There are people who - of all the things they could be doing on any given day - believe that one thing they must do that day is to contact a website and tell them why they think so and so makes or is worth more money than the website says.
Like Taylor Swift and Beyonce.
That's a shining example of the phrase "super fans".
It caught my attention because finding those kinds of fans is the center of my 30 Minute
Affiliate course.
Any marketing is accomplished by pairing a group of people with a product which is likely to interest that group of people.
That's exactly what we're doing in that course.
We're finding groups of super fans about a topic and sharing with them the products we
know those fans will appreciate in a way that is sure to catch their attention.
I already know fans are a great audience for affiliate marketers but it was so interesting to see in that article just how far some will go to engage with their topic of choice.
