We're sure to have a lively discussion - I spent about an hour talking to Elon by phone a couple of weeks ago to learn more about her and her business and she's a BALL OF
ENERGY!
She's sharp, resourceful, loves what she does and has been able to teach others to mirror her process.
In the webinar, Elon will discuss some of the lessons she learned the hard way and how you can learn from her mistakes.
She'll also talk about her successes - and they're huge. While she started out selling things from around her home and then moved into retail arbitrage (buying low at Walmart, for example, and flipping on Amazon), she now works out exclusive contracts with manufacturers and private label deals, to boot.
Her
story is exciting and she's incredibly helpful and willing to share!
One of the questions I asked her had to do with how much physical work is involved with this method and she explained how it depends on your sourcing strategy. She has several she uses and there are ways to do this business model that don't require handling a ton of products in your home (although that's one way to get
started with very little money).
Elon also explained that after trying all the well known methods for internet marketing THIS is the one that gave her results faster than any other and I completely understand why after hearing what she had to say.
As she and I were talking about what
she does I couldn't help but think how what we do as affiliates so easily applies to the Fulfillment by Amazon program. In fact, some of the things you can't do as an affiliate you CAN do when you're the seller. As an affiliate, linking to a product page on Amazon inside of Pinterest does us no good but if you're the seller, the direct link is all you need. Many of you know how to use Pinterest for traffic and you could use that to drive consumers to your own product
listings.
I know some of you have been doing Fulfillment by Amazon for awhile now (several of you have kept me posted on your success) and some of you haven't yet explored the opportunity. This webinar will give both groups an opportunity to learn something new.
