Struggle to Find Low Competition Amazon Keywords?
You're not alone.  Just a week or so ago I had an email from a member of my list who was working on my PinFabulous strategy and she said:

I love the pinfabulous approach.

I hate keyword research!

Who couldn't relate to that or feel compelled to help?

I use the free Google Keyword Planner to find keywords even though I have Market Samurai.  I feel like I lose a degree of control using some tools and can do just as well with my little process.  Not that keyword tools don't have their place but I don't think you *need* to buy one in order to carry out the PinFabulous strategy.

Plus, this keyword strategy can be used for all kinds of projects.  It's the one I used with Squid Pro Quo (back when I was doing Squidoo) but will work for web 2.0 sites and for expanding your review site with related accessories and products.

So, I've done a video tutorial to show you how I quickly scout out lots of keywords.  Hoping this makes your keyword research nightmares go away and allow you to do more of what counts - content creation!

Slick Idea - Animated Buy Buttons
Igor, one of my favorite WordPress plug-in creators (I have two), has come up with something new - animated buy buttons!

The buttons look like your standard buy button but you can customize the settings so that a message pops up when your visitor hovers over the button.

The possibilities for testing different messages is endless.  As an affiliate marketer, getting visitors to click those buttons is second only to getting traffic to our sites (because without that traffic who would click the buttons, right?).

First, take a look at the demo buttons here:  ANIMATED BUY BUTTONS

Then, just think about how you could use them.  This isn't JUST for Amazon - you could use it to get more social shares for your content, to reinforce why people should sign up to your list, to thank people for downloading a product from your site...

But...as an Amazon Associate, imagine what creative messages you could put on those buttons to inspire more people to click your links and set your site apart from your competition.

You could test out linking to Amazon's coupon page and when the someone hovers over the button it might say "Check Coupons".  You could link to Amazon and tell people that's where you're sending them.  You could put the word "Amazon" on the button and have the message say "Read Reviews" - anything that might get people agreeing that, yes, they need to click that link.

You choose the color, the text on the button, one of 369 icons for your button, and then the action and message that shows up when a visitor hovers over the button.  Doesn't get much easier or well-rounded than that!

I haven't had time to fully test yet but because Igor's price is going up in less than 24 hours I wanted you to get a chance to see this one for yourself.  I like Igor's products, his customer service and - best of all - anything that can help me get more clicks to Amazon.

Missing Your PLR Source?
I know a lot of you enjoyed Stacy's PLR and keyword packs but she's been very busy these days working on some other projects.

If you use PLR take a look at Chris Jones' latest PLR pack for Amazon Associates:  Azon Power Packs

Chris's package resembles the thoroughness of Stacy's but with some added features which is why I feel confident that those of you who liked Stacy's material will find Chris's to be a great alternative while Stacy is otherwise occupied.

  • You get a TON of information in each pack:
  • Keywords
  • 14 articles with 500 words each written to convert
  • 10 promotional videos you can use to promote your content on video sites
  • Videos showing you HOW to use the PLR
  • Videos showing you how to get TRAFFIC
  • Free access to Chris's Azon Kickstarter 2014 course
  • Full action plan on using the package

I do not use PLR but I know what a good package looks like and when one doesn't hit the mark and Chris's PLR packs are thorough and don't leave you wondering how to take advantage of the material.  If you've struggled to make money online, hate to write, or are always on the lookout for a way to expand your Amazon reach without having to do all the work yourself this is one way to go.
