My 17 year old son (soon to be 18!) is one of the most goal-oriented people I've ever seen.
I've watched in fascination as he has accomplished one thing after another on his list of goals:
- Scheduled a meeting with the high school principal at the age of 13 to address a need he saw on campus
- Got his first job at 14
- Bought his first car at 16
- Worked on a local political campaign at the age of 16
- Got into the engineering school at ASU
- Entered a competition to speak at his high school graduation ceremony and won (I cried!!)
He does all the things that articles tell you one should do in order to reach your goals:
- Sets very specific goals
- Picks goals he's highly motivated to achieve
- Laser focused on one goal at a time
- Shares his goals
- Keeps his eyes open for opportunities to get help meeting his goals
He puts a stake in the ground and he gets to work.
I've set a goal, made it loud and clear and am inviting you to follow along and repeat after me.
If you're part of the group already on board I hope you're feeling the buzzing excitement I see playing out already!
We're sharing ideas, there have been lots of great questions, and people are working through the initial step of finding a niche idea for their sites.
I've had lots of questions from people who haven't joined yet, too, and am sharing some FAQ here:
Will you be showing students how to apply to the Amazon Associates program?
Yes. I will cover what you need to do to apply to the program.
Can we choose to promote the Amazon.co.uk or another Amazon country instead of Amazon.com?
Yes as long as that other Amazon site has enough products to choose from for your niche.
Do we have to live in the US to promote the Amazon.com Associates program?
No. Amazon.com accepts affiliates from many other countries.
Can we choose to promote other affiliate networks like ShareASale, CJ or Rakuten instead?
Yes, other affiliate networks that have physical products will work for this course. The site you build as part of the course should help you get approved by those networks but it might take a bit longer than it does with Amazon.
Will we be building a review site in this course?
That up to you. We will be going into great depth on how to write strong product reviews but we'll be covering a large number of other kinds of posts, too, and methods of combining the different post types to reach one's goal. You would only end up building a review site if that was what you wanted to build.
When do the doors close?
The doors will remain open for at least another two weeks.
What if we are scheduled to take a trip during the course. Will we fall behind?
There are no due dates. You can work through the steps at your own pace. If you need to take a break you would just save up the course lessons during that time and pick up where you left off.
Will we have to build or buy backlinks in order to rank our sites in Google?
No. There will be no backlinking in this course. I do not rely on backlinks to rank my content. I focus on creating quality content in order to rank well.
Will we have to build an email list?
No. You will not need to build an email list in this course.

And if you have other questions not answered above please let me know!
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Erica Stone
