I created a private Facebook group to provide additional, on-going coaching.

 

It was specifically set up for the Follow Me to Adsense course (so that's what you'll see on the sign-up page) but the material inside and the conversations we've been having apply to anyone following any of my ebooks or courses - blogging, affiliate marketing, social media, site speed, and related subjects.

 

I've thoroughly enjoyed myself creating video tutorials to add to the training Units.

 

I've even held phone calls through Messenger with several participants. So much easier for some subjects than email!

Building my email list through Facebook ads has always been a challenge.

 

It's such a competitive market (the internet/affiliate marketing world) and there are so many pieces you have to put together to make it profitable.

 

However, I've just added the most confirmed subscribers in the past week through FB ads using an ad type and targeting method I've been fine-tuning for months now.

 

I'm extremely pleased with the results and that's promising because my goal is to outline all the steps such that anyone could build an email list in this area without having to go through the years of testing I've had to put in.

 

I know some of you have seen a few of the ads because you've commented (thanks, Galina!) even though my goal was to only have them shown to people who don't already follow me. I figured you all see me enough. ;)

 

 

Have you been watching the whole GameStop/Reddit stock frenzy?

 

I have.

 

My 17 year old son got involved with that group months ago and is sitting on a few shares of that now-pricey stock.

 

My husband, his father, my father, myself - we've all tried to tell him what to do with his investment but he just shakes his head and says "Hold the line" (a popular phrase from the forum group).

 

Every time he says that I think about what we (you and I) have to do every day as we build our online businesses.

 

Google messes with us, WordPress themes and plugins periodically conflict and throw problems at us, our families wish we weren't on the laptop so much, our auto responders go into maintenance mode while we're writing an email, we get tired, we get stressed and we want to throw in the towel - but we know what we have to do to succeed.
