A niece of mine is visiting and she's just started college (online).
She had a midterm test yesterday and this was one of the questions on the test: Can you control time?
She answered no - and she got it WRONG!
Now, I'd like to contact that professor and ask them how you stop time, then, because they must know something I don't know.
We can control what we do with our time but I would be willing to enter a very lengthy debate about whether or not we can "control time".
We can't stop it, speed it up, move around it, or go back in it (that I know of - maybe there's some secret project we haven't been told about yet!).
It moves at a constant rate despite what we want.
Time is the reason I left my corporate banking job. I was tired of spending it away from my family.
When you're building a website from which you want to profit, though, you're really trading one kind of work for another. You aren't gaining TIME.
Sure, you get to at least do that work where you want and when (and that DOES make a difference!) but, at the end of the day, you're still WORKING.
When you picture your financial independence, though, doesn't it include just a bit more free time than you have now?
Mine does!
I'm a big believer in a concept I heard at a seminar years ago called "the genius of the AND".
It refers to the idea of having two seemingly opposing things at once - like making more money AND having more free time.
It IS possible to have both!
You just have to figure out how to get them.
For affiliate marketers making money is all about creating content and getting traffic.
The more kinds of CONTENT you can create the richer the website you provide to your target audience.
The more methods you use to drive TRAFFIC the more you get (and the more sales you make).
These are critical but both of them take TIME.
But I know how to get both of them with less of MY time.
And once you know how to do that you literally control your very destiny.
You create something powerful that provides a consistent, growing income while also giving you MORE FREE TIME!
In my corporate life I was a manager. I managed the work done by other people. A big part of my job was making sure other people did their jobs.
I didn't answer the phone and talk to customers. I managed the people who did.
You can get a LOT of work done when you - a single individual - manage other people to do your work for you.
