Hope everyone's doing well!

I want to share a quick WordPress tip but before I forget it's also the last day for the discount price on my RecurMe Commissions ebook package. The price rises at the end of today!

Now, a few months ago WordPress added an enhanced Site Health tool to the WordPress dashboard and many of you might be seeing a "poor" health status score.

You should see Site Health box on your main dashboard  with an overall status and a link to your Site Health screen.

The Site Health screen tells you if something in your site isn't up to snuff. Issues with your site's health could impact speed, security, compatibility, and visitor experience.

You should check your site's health status screen and make any recommended fixes.

One quick fix for those of you who have followed any of my previous site set-up instructions is to replace the Contact Form by BestWebSoft plugin.

If you're using that plugin it causes a site health issue.

To fix this:
- Deactivate and delete the BestWebSoft plugin

- Install and activate the Contact Form by WPForms plugin (free)

- Go to WPForms/Add New

- Click the Simple Contact box

- Click the orange Save button

- Click the X to close the form editor

- Copy the shortcode for your new form and paste it into your existing Contact page

- Go to Settings/General and make sure you have your email address in the Administration Email Address field

You may see other items that should be fixed like updating your PHP version (which you can usually do yourself inside your hosting account through your cPanel dashboard) or a recommendation to add a backup theme to your site.

If you see something more complex you might have to contact your theme's creator or your hosting company for some of the recommended fixes.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely,

Erica Stone
