Offering to pay you $100 if you fail after taking action is very rare in this business.
Yup, my ears were working - that's what they said!
I then figured that maybe the steps you had to take were so complicated that most people wouldn't actually do them which is why they would consider that kind of offer.
So I bought the software and went through all of the steps.
Nope, it's not that complicated!
I don't know the creators of this software so I'm not familiar with their reputation or past products. I'm only going by this one tool that I bought and tested.
It works.
It's called Multiply and you can read more about it here:
This software uses quizzes to gather email address, achieve viral sharing of your quizzes, and get eyeballs on your affiliate links.
Here's the overall process:
- Create some sort of "prize". This could be a PDF related to your niche with your affiliate links to digital products inside the PDF (they show you how to create these quickly using freely available material or you can create your own) or it could be a link to an informative post or page on your own website with affiliate links inside the post or
page.
- Log into the Multiply site
- Create a quiz related to your niche (just a handful of questions are all that's needed)
- Get a link for the quiz
- Share the link to the quiz by email, Facebook, Whatsapp - wherever you can share link with people interested in your niche
- Export the emails of those who completed the quiz and import them to your email responder dashboard (Aweber, etc.)
I completely get why this is a viral kind of approach. People like to take quizzes! They're fun, addictive, easy to share, and they get attention.
Multiply handles the formatting of your quiz, tracking the answers, calculating the results, gathering the email addresses of those who complete the quiz, redirecting the quiz taker to your prize, and forcing the quiz taker to share your quiz for more views.
Using quizzes is a really sly strategy because they don't come off as being a sales pitch yet you can easily target your specific niche.
You do not need to have a website in order to use this approach to build an email list. Your prize could be stored on Google Docs.
You do not need to build an email list if you don't want. You can just use this method to get people to see and click your affiliate links to digital products.
There are a number of upsells. I bought only the main product, clicked the link to buy the first upsell (which allows for unlimited uses which seems best), but then clicked the back button to check something, landed back at the sales page and missed all the other upsells. (If you
hate wading through upsells it's nice to know that worked - LOL!)
I do know that one of the upsells are some done-for-you materials, one has to do with you getting to put your Facebook retargeting pixel on THEIR sales page so you can target the viewers of that sales page with your own Facebook ads, and then there's a master mind group. All of that is up to you to think through.
The training material is thorough and all in video format (short, easy to follow videos).
There's nothing else I would need to buy to make even the initial product work for me so I don't feel like I bought something that was half of a product and can't make it work without having purchased the upsells (although I do think having the first upsell with the unlimited quiz potential would work better for me but I found a link to that offer inside
the app).
Some tips for those who decide to use Multiply:
- IF you share the quiz link on Facebook they don't bring up a picture so I'd create a photo for your Facebook post and write some bit of content for the post on Facebook that will get people to want to click the link and take the quiz. I think that would get more attention to the post.
- IF you do import those email addresses to an email responder I'd create a welcome email for all of those people that explains your privacy policy, explains that they have joined your email list, explains the benefits of being on your list (make it worthwhile!) and gives them an opportunity to opt out - just
to be safe.
- Get creative! The training material shows you the basic way to use this software but, in my mind, there are lots of ways to use this for even Amazon affiliate marketing. For example, if your niche is fishing you could create a quiz about fishing, share it on your Facebook page for your site, make the freebie a PDF of a buying guide for fishing
poles and in that buying guide you could link back to posts on your site where you've reviewed the best fishing poles. That would get traffic to your website where you're allowed to show your Amazon affiliate links since you can't put those links inside a PDF.
- I don't see why you couldn't share these quizzes on Pinterest. I'd just create an image to use when sharing the link.
I haven't had time to review a lot of new tools lately but the idea of getting free traffic always catches my attention. It's jut not often that a product making that claim can actually deliver but this one definitely has great potential, is very easy to use, and has multiple applications.
Take a look today before they follow through with their price increase:
Thanks!
