I'm beyond thrilled by the number of you who have signed up for The Freedom Fix!
I wish I could lay out everything we're going to cover in advance but that would be giving away some of the magic in this course!
Let's just say it's the most comprehensive set of material you'll ever receive regarding being a successful affiliate marketer.
If, at the end of it, you don't know how to make money as an affiliate marketer of physical products then I'll...eat my hat, as they say.
I've had a number of questions about the program and thought I'd lay out the answers in this email because some of the following information PERTAINS TO EVERYONE - not just those going through the
course!
Question:
Will I have to spend any other money to complete the steps in this course?
Answer:
Other than buying hosting and a domain name (and I'll tell you where to get those for as little as possible - just a few bucks a month) you won't have to buy anything else. I use all free tools for my business (or, have a free option for those who don't want to buy the ONE tool I bought years ago). If you already have a site you want to work on during six months then you have nothing else to buy!
Question: I've tried my hand at affiliate marketing before and failed. How would this help me?
Answer: If you've tried your hand at affiliate marketing in the past and failed, THERE IS A REASON.
Success comes from understanding all the variables that go into making sales and leveraging those variables to their fullest extent. The SEO built into your site, the quality of your written content, the information you put into your written content, the keywords you target, the way you displayed products in your post - all of those things contribute to (or harm) your success.
I'm going to break those variables down for you in a way that will make them easy to understand and apply to your own online work.
Question: I go straight to Amazon when I want to buy something and I know other people do the same. How can I make money as an affiliate marketer if people simply go straight to the retailer and buy?
Answer: If all customers went straight to Amazon to buy, there would be no reason for them to have an affiliate marketing program. But they do have one and they NEED
one.
Affiliates do make a difference and when you understand HOW they make a difference you can make use of that information to improve
your results.
First, Amazon is not good at selling everything. This is where they need affiliates to help. They even give us
clues about some of those areas. We're going to cover those weaknesses and learn how to attack them head on!
Question: I already have an affiliate marketing website. What's the one thing I should work on to see better results?
Answer: Your content. Period. End of story.
If your post is thorough, unique, quality content geared to help the end consumer, Google WILL recognize your post and rank you higher.
In fact - as long as your on-page SEO is good and your site doesn't have any history that would be holding it back from ranking - if you have a post that you think should be ranking well but isn't then you already have the answer about what's wrong with your
site.
It's your content.
You either don't have enough or you haven't thought of ways to give the customer more value with your post.
Work on it - work on it - and work on it some more until you've truly put your place in your customer's head, thought of every question and concern they might have, and addressed those things in full.
Keep watching your rankings - you'll know when you're on the right track because your post will start to rank better in Google for your main phrase and related phrases. You'll see more traffic.
Doing so will help even with a competitive keyword. Suppose you've done a review of a new laptop and you're trying to outrank the
authority sites in the niche. That's a very tough job!
Authority sites may have taken their own images of the laptop, opened it up to
discuss the interior hardware, compared it point for point to a competing laptop, filmed a video of the laptop in operation or while un-boxing, and covered all of the specs in terms that the regular consumer can understand.
You, then, have to do the same AND MORE. See? It's all about your content. If you did all the same things as the authority sites and then added MORE (maybe you film a 360 view of the laptop, you buy one and get 10 of your best friends to each use it for a week each and provide you a report of what they thought of the laptop, you interview an expert on the subject to get their impressions,
you do a video interview with a representative from the manufacturer, etc) then you start to have content that gives MORE to the consumer and merits attention from Google.
That's an extreme example but see how content can always be improved even in a highly competitive scenario?
It's much easier to do this kind of revision when you're targeting keywords with less competition, thank goodness! You just have to learn how to uncover the right kinds of information to put into your post.
Question: Erica, that price seems way too low! Is it missing a zero or something?
Answer: That price is correct, believe it or not! My goal was to get the most
revealing, instructional, forward-thinking, inspirational, motivating, information into the hands of as many people as I could at a price that was as affordable as I could make it.
The way I'll be laying out information will help you analyze your own work - a skill that's going to be incredibly valuable to you no matter what kind of site you want to build or are building.
It's one thing for me to look at your site and tell you what needs to change but learning to do that for yourself is going to be something you'll be able to use for years to come. Having you learn to do this kind of work saves me time which is why I can structure the price so low. The really low monthly payment option helps, too!
Question: Will I have to do a lot of writing during The Freedom Fix?
Answer: That depends on the type of site you want to build or grow. The new site I'll be building will have a combination of long and short posts and requires less writing than the site I'll be growing (which is a review site).
Question: How much time will I need to spend on this every
week?
Answer: That is entirely up to you. The Freedom Fix is designed
for you to work at your own pace.
You can take action as soon as you receive instructions from me or you can hold onto those, absorb the
information and take action when it best fits your schedule.
Either way, you're going to get extremely valuable information that will help you
build up your affiliate marketing business. You're going to learn techniques and strategies that are going to help you whether you apply them immediately or whether you apply them down the road.
Doors close midnight (MST) on Wednesday, September 5th.
