I created an internet marketing blog eons ago. I just never posted to it - which makes it very hard for the blog to be of use to anyone at all.
I did use it to create sales pages or sign up pages but, truly, it was always intended to be a blog where I could share how-to information with my list.
I've spent probably the past two years periodically playing around with it. I'd set it up one way and then another, I'd change the header image, I'd check on site speed, update WordPress, - everything but actually write a post.
Well, that's not entirely true. I have about 15 drafts started that were never finished. I rarely get two days to string together without distraction so each post sat as an unfinished jumble of words and
ideas.
But not this time! I actually published a post! Now, it's not Amazon related - it's Pinterest related - but I think the topic will be of interest to at least
some portion of you. ; )
Click here to read the post:
(You can click on the other
category tabs in the navigation menu all you want - there's nothing there except on the home page. I had to start somewhere!)
Those of you who don't use Pinterest are
already thinking to yourself - really, Erica? You couldn't come up with a post I could use?!
But, bear with me - while I make no promises about getting to another post at
any specific point in time (I remembered to add language here that will make you forgive me when you realize a month or two or three has gone by between posts....) - I do have a TON of ideas for valuable posts for affiliate marketers.
Why a website? Because I sometimes have a LOT of information I want to share with you guys and email just doesn't always work for the topic. This particular post has a lot of images in it to help explain instructions and an email with a ton of images presents all kinds of problems.
Plus, when I send an email with this kind of information, I'll get multiple emails with the same question because in my haste to be done I always end up leaving out some bit of something. In a blog post, people can ask a question and everyone gets to see the same answer.
I figure that's got to be a win for all of us!
So, take a look at the post and my work-in-progress of a site at your leisure.
Hope you're all doing well and furiously working on your plans for a fantastic 2018!
Sincerely,
Erica Stone
