New Azon Deal Alert Plug-In
Edwin Bointen and Colleen Slater do it again.  I might as well hand my sites over to them because if I use any paid plug-ins, they've come from one or both of those two individuals.
I generally take only a passing glance at new plug-ins for my sites.  I've said before, and I'll say it again, unless a plug-in is going to save me time or money OR generate more Amazon sales, I'm not interested.

When Edwin makes a plug-in - and gets Colleen Slater involved - I take more than just a little look, though.  Edwin takes his real life Amazon site building experience, folds in his technical experience and designs great tools for Amazon Associates that actually work.  He knows the Extreme Review site building process and we have very similar approaches to our sites.

Azon Deal Alert is a WordPress plug-in that goes through all of the Amazon affiliate links on your site, looks up the list price and current price for every product you've mentioned in a post or a page, and then gives you a code you can use to display a sales banner and call to action for that particular product.

He's also offering a money back guarantee you can't ignore.  If you don't see improved conversions on your site, you get a refund.  End of story.  As a buyer, that's an easy risk-free decision.

You can read more here:

All you have to do is enter a few options in the plug-in screen and use the Manage screen inside WordPress to find the pages where you can add the code.  Edit your posts with an easy piece of shortcode and this cool banner shows up in your post or page exactly where you want it to show.

I installed it already on the Extreme Review Demo Site here:  http://www.standmixerreviews123.com/kitchenaid-professional-5-plus-series-review/

Took me all of a few minutes.

I've also been through all the code for this plug-in to make sure it doesn't do anything outside of Amazon's TOS.  Edwin has built in all the protections to ensure compliance with use of the API.

You will want to read through his detailed instructions because I tried to just jump in and do it without going through them (I always think I'll figure it out as I go along) but the shortcode is only shown in the instruction PDF so you won't get too far without that step.

Now, why this really caught my attention is because I happen to have a coaching student (she knows who she is) who is a graphics whiz.  She put a really cool call to action banner in the middle of her posts and I was floored at not only how eye-catching it was but how well I could see it would attract a visitor's attention.  I wanted to do the same for my sites (see, I learn from you guys, too!) but I don't have the time to do a bunch of graphics.  With this plug-in, I get the same kind of functionality.

There are different ribbon colors to choose from so you can find a style that matches the look of your own site.  You can even customize the ribbon if you want and Edwin has some instructions for doing that, too.

Take a look at the demo site and then read the
Azon Deal Alert WSO Page.  It's a dime sale so I wanted to get this out to you fast.  I always get emails asking about new plug-ins so tried to get this out as quick as I could but not before I had a chance to test it and review the code.

Sincerely,

Erica Stone
