Super Speedy Squidoo Lensbuilding Trick

Published: Sun, 03/04/12

Hi, guys!  I've got a tip on how to get more done
in less time.  We all need more of that kind of
stuff, right?

Many of you are following my
Squidoo Niche Blaster product either
exclusively or as a secondary income stream
alongside your own Amazon product review sites.

It's one of the easiest methods for promoting
Amazon as an affiliate.

Even though I'm heavily invested in my own
Amazon product review sites using the
Extreme Review method, I still build
lenses on a regular basis because it's simple
and it works.

However, you may have noticed that the
most time consuming (and BORING) step
in SNB has to do with getting all the products
and images into your lenses when you're
using your own Amazon Associate links.

Anytime a task bores me to tears, I start
looking for a faster way to get it done.  Sure,
I could use Squidoo's own Amazon modules
to bring in those links but then I'd have to share
50% of the commissions.

Fortunately, there's a utility that's been available
to Squidoo lensmasters for ages that helps
you build Amazon links using your own
Associate ID and it's much FASTER than
my Photobucket method!

I only recently played around with how I could
use that tool in combination with
Squidoo Niche Blaster, though. I've tested it
out and it's working like a charm!

Feel free to explore the overall SquidUtils site
for all kinds of other tools but, for now, I'm going
to focus on the Amazon link building tools which
you can find here:
http://squidutils.com/amazon-links.php

You can use the link builders to create all the
product code you need for those
3 category modules in the Master Lens of Squidoo
Niche Blaster.

Watch the video to see how this works:

HERE'S THE CATCH:
If you use SquidUtils to build your product
images and links, one out of every 10 clicks
to Amazon is going to get tagged with the utility
creator's own Amazon Associate ID.

That means you could lose an average of 10%
of your sales when you use this tool but it's nearly
as fast as using the Squidoo Amazon modules but
at a 10% share rather than a 50% share.  I think
the 10% is a fair trade for the added speed.

What I've been doing is using SquidUtils to
speed things up and then going back and changing
out the SquidUtils code for my own code when I see
a niche is generating strong activity.

You can do something similar with the sublenses
by using SquidUtils to create a poster-style
Amazon link for a single product here:
http://squidutils.com/amazon-poster.php

Once you get the lenses up, follow the steps
I've outlined in Squidoo Niche Blaster for
backlinking and interlinking and then build
your next set.

More lenses should give you more clicks to Amazon
and more clicks should equate to more sales.

It's a volume game so the faster you can get
lenses up and running, the better off you'll be!

If you struggle to find niche ideas for your lenses,

lensmaster hosts Joan and Kate a couple of weeks ago:
